IP CCTV Systems

IP systems broadcast their video as a digital stream over your internet network. The video is then recorded onto the hard drives. As the video is an IP stream straight from the security camera, there is much more flexibility as to how and where that video is recorded. The DVR is replaced with a network video recorder, which records in a similar fashion to an analogue recorder but the analytics are built into the artificial intelligence within the camera allowing for more specific     motion detection. An IP system can differentiate between humans, animals, vehicles and environmental motion including trees and adverse weather. IP  systems will give a sharper image than analogue systems particularly when zooming in on an object at distance.
